Αγαπητέ κύριε πρόεδρε.
Με μεγάλη ευχαρίστηση και υπερηφάνεια μαζί δεχόμαστε την πρόταση του
Πολιτιστικού και των άλλων συλλόγων και φορέων του χωριού
να αναλάβετε την
διοργάνωση του 51ου ( και Παν-Κροκεατικού ) συνεδρίου μας στο αγαπημένο
μας χωριό τον Ιούλιο 2005.
Ευχή μας είναι όπως το 51ο συνέδριο, οι αποφάσεις και οι ενέργειες του, αποτελέσει
σταθμό για το μέλλον του
Κροκεατικού μας κόσμου. Η καλή συνεργασία και
συμμετοχή όλων των φορέων του χωριού και όλων εμάς των Κροκεατών της διασποράς είναι απαραίτητη και
αναγκαία. Λέγοντας διασπορά
δεν εννοούμε μόνον εμάς της Αμερικής, Καναδά , Αυστραλίας και αλλού στο εξωτερικό
αλλά και αυτών που μένουν
στην Αθήνα και σε άλλα διαμερίσματα
της Ελλάδας.
Επειδή όλοι μας θα πρέπει εκ των προτέρων ( από τώρα) να κανονίσουμε
τις άδειες μας από τις απασχολήσεις και επιχειρήσεις μας ,η πρώτη ενέργεια
της όλης διοργάνωσης θα πρέπει να είναι η καθιέρωση της ημερομηνίας
που θα διεξαχθεί το συνέδριο.
Η δική μας πρόταση είναι όπως το συνέδριο διαρκέσει, όπως και τα προηγούμενα,
για μία εβδομάδα. Δηλαδή να αρχίσει Κυριακή πρωί με λειτουργία στον
Αγιο Νικόλαο και να τελειώσει την επόμενη Κυριακή το βράδυ με γλέντι
στην κεντρική πλατεία. Κατά την διάρκεια της
εβδομάδας καλό θα ήταν να διοργανωθούν μία οι δύο ημερήσιες εκδρομές
(π.χ. Επίδαυρός, Πύλος ) καθώς και δύο τουλάχιστον συνελεύσεις
που θα μας επιτρέψουν να συλλογιστούμε,
να ακούσουμε και να εκφράσουμε απόψεις και να κάνουμε προτάσεις για
την πρόοδο του τόπου ,την νεολαία και το μέλλον των συλλόγων μας. Σαν
ημερομηνία αρχής του συνεδρίου προτείνουμε τις Κυριακές 24 και
31 Ιουλίου 2005.
Σε ευχαριστούμε για το προσωπικό σου ενδιαφέρον και τις
μέχρι τώρα ενέργειές σου.
Περιμένουμε την σύντομη απάντηση σας σχετικά με την ημερομηνία
ενάρξεως του συνεδρίου για να την ανακοινώσομε όσο τον δυνατόν
γρηγορότερα στα μέλη μας με την τακτική μας αλληλογραφία, καθώς και
μέσω της ιστοσελίδας του συλλόγου μας. Επί τη ευκαιρία προσφέρουμε την
ιστοσελίδα στη διάθεση της διοργανωτικής
επιτροπής του συνεδρίου καθώς για την οποιαδήποτε προβολή του
χωριού και των ανθρώπων του.

και την αγάπη μας σε όλους τους Κροκεάτες.

Cultural Association of Krokees

Dear Mr. President,
It is with great pleasure and pride that we accept the proposal of your
association, together with the other associations and institutions of
the village, to organize our 51st (Pan-Krokean ) convention,
in our beloved town during July 2005.
It is our wish and great hope that the 51st convention, based on the
decisions we make and actions we take, will be a turning point for the
future of all Krokeans throughout the world. The collaboration and participation
of all the institutions of the village, and all of Krokeans in the Diaspora,
is vital. By saying
"Diaspora", we do not mean only the Krokeans living in the
United States, Canada, Australia and elsewhere abroad, but those Krokeans
residing in Athens, and in the other parts of Greece.
It is mandatory that those of us residing
abroad make the necessary arrangements for next year's event.
Therefore, it is essential that our first action should establish
the date that our convention is to take place. Our recommendation
is that the convention be held within the village itself, and that the
duration of the convention be one week. That is to say,
the convention will begin on a Sunday morning, with members attending
the divine liturgy at the church of Saint Nicholas, and ending the following
Sunday, with a glenti in the town's central square. During the week
of the convention, it would be nice and perhaps essential, to organize
two, one-day excursions (e.g. to Epidauros, Pylos, etc.), and
hold at least two general assembly meetings. These particular
meetings would allow the proper forum for mutually discussing current
issues, expressing opinions, and making proposals for the betterment
of our town. The future
of our respective associations is dependent on the success of these
meetings. In closing, we
suggest either Sunday 24th or Sunday 31st of July 2005, as
the beginning dates for the convention.
We
would like to thank you for your personal interest and actions to date.

committee, as well as for promotion of our village and its people.
